“Тусгай замын автобус (BRT)” төсөл нь тусгай замаар автобус зорчих нийтийн тээврийн дэвшилтэт систем юм. Тусгай замыг авто замын гуравдугаар эгнээнд төлөвлөсөн нь гэрлэн дохиотой уулзваруудад автомашины эргэх хөдөлгөөнд саад учруулахгүй, замын хөдөлгөөний урсгалыг хэвийн хадгалах давуу талтай.
Энэхүү BRT системийг Ард Аюушийн өргөн чөлөө – Их тойруу – Намьянжүгийн гудамж – Нийслэл хүрээ өргөн чөлөө чиглэлд нийт 12.9 км урттай, 19 буудал бүхий коридор дагуу төлөвлөж байна. Төслийг 2025-2030 онд хэрэгжүүлэхээр Техник, эдийн засгийн үндэслэлд тусган Зам, тээврийн яамны Автотээврийн дэд зөвлөлийн хурлаар 2025 оны 9 сард хэлэлцэн дэмжсэн. Мөн төслийн нарийвчилсан ажлын зураг төсөл (DED) болон нарийвчилсан үйл ажиллагааны төлөвлөлт (DOD)-ийн зөвлөх үйлчилгээний тендерийг Нийслэлийн худалдан авах ажиллагааны газраас Азийн хөгжлийн банкны журмын дагуу олон улсад зарласан.
Эхний шатны тендэрийг 2026 оны 6 дугаар сарын 10-ны өдөр хааж, Нийслэлийн худалдан авах ажиллагааны газрын даргын тушаалаар байгуулагдсан Үнэлгээний хороод хуралдан богино жагсаалт гаргаж, тендерийн хоёрдугаар шатыг эхлүүлэхээр бэлтгэл ханган ажиллаж байна. Түүнчлэн төслийн урьдчилсан бэлтгэл ажлын хүрээнд газар чөлөөлөлт, нүүлгэн шилжүүлэлтийн асуудлаарх нарийвчилсан төлөвлөлтийг боловсруулж байгаа бөгөөд холбогдох баримт бичгийг Азийн хөгжлийн банкны шаардлагын дагуу батлуулж, хянуулсны дараа хэрэгжүүлж эхэлнэ.
BRT системийн нэг онцлог нь автобусны шал болон буудлын тавцан ижил түвшинд байх шийдэл юм. Ингэснээр хөгжлийн бэрхшээлтэй иргэд, өндөр настан, хүүхдийн болон тэргэнцэртэй иргэд автобусанд саадгүй, аюулгүй зорчих боломж бүрдэнэ.
Төслийг хэрэгжүүлснээр нийтийн тээврийн үйлчилгээний хурд, хүртээмж эрс сайжирч, тухайн чиглэлийн автобусны хөдөлгөөний хурд өнөөгийн түвшнээс 4-5 дахин нэмэгдэн, дундаж хурд нь 20-25 км/цагт хүрэх тооцоо гарсан байна. Энэ нь зорчих хугацааг богиносгож, иргэдийн ая тухтай, найдвартай зорчих нөхцөлийг бүрдүүлэх чухал ач холбогдолтой юм.
International Tender Announced for Detailed Design and Operational Planning Consultancy Services for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project
The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project is an advanced public transportation system in which buses operate on dedicated lanes. The dedicated bus lane is planned to be located in the third lane of the roadway, which has the advantage of not interfering with turning vehicles at signalized intersections and helps maintain normal traffic flow.
The BRT system is planned along a 12.9-kilometer corridor with 19 stations, running through Ard Ayush Avenue – Ikh Toiruu – Namyanju Street – Niislel Khuree Avenue. According to the project’s feasibility study, it is scheduled for implementation between 2025 and 2030. The project was discussed and approved by the Ministry of Road and Transport’s Motor Transport Sub-Council in September 2025. In addition, the consultancy services tender for the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and Detailed Operational Design (DOD) has been announced internationally by the Capital City’s Procurement Agency in accordance with the procedures of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The first stage of the tender closed on June 10, 2026. Evaluation committees established by order of the Director of the Capital City’s Procurement Agency have convened to prepare a shortlist and begin the second stage of the tender process. Furthermore, as part of the project’s preliminary preparations, detailed planning regarding land acquisition and resettlement issues is being developed. Implementation will begin after the relevant documents are approved and reviewed in accordance with ADB requirements.
One of the key features of the BRT system is that the bus floor and station platform will be at the same level. This design will enable persons with disabilities, senior citizens, children, and wheelchair users to board and travel safely and conveniently without obstacles.
Once implemented, the project is expected to significantly improve the speed and accessibility of public transportation. The operating speed of buses along the corridor is projected to increase by four to five times compared to current levels, reaching an average speed of 20-25 km/h. This will shorten travel times and create more comfortable and reliable travel conditions for residents.
